Dr. Sheenu Goel grew up in the state of Ohio and attended Ohio State University for her undergraduate education. She then went on to Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, where she acquired her degree in general dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Goel did a general practice dentistry residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Afterwards, she practiced as a general dentist for three years before pursuing her specialty in endodontics.
After private practice, Dr. Goel returned to Columbia CDM to pursue her specialty training in endodontics. At Columbia, Dr. Goel had an extensive education in didactic and clinical courses, and she enjoyed teaching endodontics to the undergraduate dental students. She prides herself on working hard to be a clinician who not only provides excellent care in root canals and root-end surgeries but also one who uses her knowledge from general practice to help patients make sound decisions about their treatments. Through her vast clinical training at Columbia, Dr. Goel can help the most fearful patients feel at ease and relieved.
During her free time, Dr. Goel enjoys spending time with her husband and family, working out, watching Buckeye games, cooking, and reading.
