Beavercreek Endodontist
Dr. Michaels grew up in Ohio and went to Miami University for her undergraduate education. She continued her education at Case Western Reserve University and obtained her Master’s degree before deciding to pursue dentistry.
Dr. Michaels attended Boston University for dental school. Between studying and seeing patients, she would take time to explore the city with her friends. She enjoyed walking along the Charles River and meeting other dental students from Harvard and Tufts. She was active in dental school and held many leadership positions. Dr. Michaels graduated magna cum laude from BU.
Dr. Michaels continued her education by moving to New York City and completing a two year general dentistry residency at Jacobi Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in the Bronx. At this site, she found her true passion for endodontics. She found immense satisfaction when she was able to save teeth with root canal therapy. She applied, and was accepted into the prestigious Manhattan VA endodontic residency program. She had advanced didactic and clinical training in all areas of endodontics including root canal therapy, retreatments, resorption repair, and root-end surgeries. Dr. Michaels was very proud to be named Chief Resident during her time at the VA. She was honored to have provided exceptional dental treatment for the veterans who served our country.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Michaels likes to spend time with her husband and Goldendoodle, Bess. She plays tennis weekly, practices Pilates, and enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants!
