Dr. Rush Davidson wanted to be an orthodontist since he was in junior high school. Once an awkward boy unwilling to smile or laugh without covering his teeth, Dr. Davidson’s life and personality were transformed by braces! Going forward, his dream was to be able to positively change the lives of many children and adults through orthodontics.

Dr. Davidson was raised in the hills of Nashville, TN, and he graduated Cum Laude from Furman University in 2003. After college, Dr. Davidson moved to New York City and earned a DDS from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine in 2008. At the end of his tenure at Columbia, Dr. Davidson was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for his outstanding academic achievements.
After dental school, Dr. Davidson served as a captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Davidson is very proud to have served his country, and in 2009 he was named the 56th Dental Squadron Company Grade Officer of the Year.
Following his United States Air Force service, Dr. Davidson returned to New York City and earned his degree in Orthodontics from Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Davidson is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics—an accomplishment attained by only a small group of practicing orthodontists in the country.
Dr. Davidson is a very friendly, caring, and compassionate person who is committed to delivering the highest quality of care for his patients. Throughout his training in New York City and service in the United States Air Force, Dr. Davidson was involved in many outreach organizations to the underserved people of Harlem, Washington Heights, and the Bronx. The highlight of his service was a 2-week dental humanitarian deployment in which he treated children and adults in Guyana, South America. Dr. Davidson is an advocate of providing care to people who would not otherwise have access.
Beyond orthodontics, Dr. Davidson loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Sheenu, his amazing daughter, Arya, his family, and their friends. He loves going to the movies, golfing, reading, hiking, and traveling, and he is an avid sports fan!"
