Dr. Martin Fitz was raised in Kokomo, Indiana, and Chicago, Illinois. During high school, he worked in an orthodontist's office and discovered his passion for helping children and adults achieve their smile goals. After graduating from Wabash College and Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Fitz returned to Chicago for a residency in orthodontics at the University of Illinois. Completing the residency began a lifelong journey of continuing education in the ever-evolving field of orthodontics. This has included mentorship by leaders in orthodontics and the mentoring of newer orthodontists to “pay it forward.”
Dr. Fitz is committed to combining his continuing education with his colleagues at Empire Dental Specialty Group for the benefit of their patients. His primary concern is for the excellence of both the orthodontic treatment and the treatment experience of their patients. Seeing the progress and completion of the transformation of a person’s smile is beautiful to experience with their families. Hearing them say “it was worth it” is even greater.
Along with this vocation, Dr. Fitz enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, his daughters, Kristen and Katie, his grandchildren, and their friends. Reading, music, movies, and pets are among the other things he enjoys and will gladly talk about if asked. Dr. Fitz provides orthodontic services in both of our Beavercreek and West Chester offices.
